BUILDERadius, Inc. serves the construction industry with its BluePrince™ software through the website, BuildingDepartment.com, and provides Property and Contractor History Reports through the website, BuildFax.com.

Established in January 1999, BUILDERadius, Inc. is a North Carolina "C" corporation based in Asheville, NC. BUILDERadius first developed a software product called Footers, an Internet, Interactive Voice Response, and Wireless Web interface for StandardSoft (StandardSoft BDS), the DOS-based building department software from the Southern Building Code Congress International (SBCCI). In June 2001, Bill Tangye, then CEO of the SBCCI, asked BUILDERadius to develop a replacement for StandardSoft BDS and BluePrince was born. An agreement was soon reached with SBCCI's successor, the International Code Council (ICC), to officially replace StandardSoft BDS with BluePrince™ .

Customers in jurisdictions using the BluePrince software access their building department online through BUILDERadius' BuildingDepartment.com website. Data services were initially offered via the BuildingDepartment.com website as well. These Property and Contractor History Reports were rebranded in 2004 under the BuildFax name and are now available at www.BuildFax.com.
